I really wanted to review this, because this isn't my first one of these, I actually had one before purchasing this one now here, my first one I purchased almost 5 years ago, and I honestly didn't expect too much of it, but it far exceeded my expectations in every way possible. So when I broke my machine recently, was totally my fault (I was rewiring a coil incorrectly... don't ask), and I started searching online for a new machine, I quickly realized that nothing on the market has really changed from the time I first purchased mine, so I made the same decision again and bought this exact same machine again. In my opinion this is way ahead of similar priced machines, and I'm kinda shocked that it isn't more popular.
1st big noticeable difference, is the huge colored LCD display, but wait.... there is actually "2" huge colored LCD displays, one on each side.
2nd the temp is controlled by a turning knob on the top of the machine, and you can control it by 1 degree, unlike some that jump 5 at a time, and you can set the temp upto 1800F, most others only go to 999F max. Now let me elaborate on this a bit... why would this matter? The coils I use won't go anywhere close to 1800F anyway, it gets up to 1100F ish, but this means I can set the machine to 1800F and it will work continuously, glowing red hot, and thus cleaning my Quartz diamond knot nail, like self cleaning a oven, (If you know what a diamond knot nail is, then you know why Qtips isn't an option). But if the machine only goes to 999F, when the coil reaches that it goes off, so it's not as hot. I only do this for 5 minutes to clean the nail. So another reason I stuck with this machine...
3rd, this machine comes with a Bluetooth remote, which is something I haven't seen any other machines have. It's a basic, simple remote, a up, a down, and power buttons. But this can be very useful if you stash the machine under the coffee table or on a shelf, etc etc.
So with these things, and the fact that I know the quality is amazing, cause my first one lasted almost 5 years with daily use, (only had to replace the coils of course), but the machine itself just kept going. And It probably would last a good while longer if I didn't break it myself.
So it was almost A no brainer for me after finding the exact same machine still for sale, and at a competitive price, I just bought it again.
I can understand how when people are looking at this, they're seeing something that looks so much better, with a remote, big screens etc etc, and still the price is just about the same as the other simpler looking machines. So they probably assume it is of inferior quality. I know I thought that before buying it the first time. But I figured then to just take a chance on it, and if it doesn't last long I'll just buy a different one. But it lasted me way way longer than expected, and I'd still have it if not for me blowing it up with my stupidity (don't ask). So it proved me wrong. The quality of this machine is amazing, there is basically no down side to it. It's just plain better than the rest.
If anyone reading this is shopping for a enail machine, I can't recommend this one more.
